Suvarnabhumi Suite Hotel is located in Lat Krabang, about 10 minutes by car from Suvarnabhumi International Airport. The hotel has a private shuttle available for their guest 24 hours a day but it's not free. Count 200 Baht for 2 persons.

This is not a 5 or 4-star hotel but for a night and for the price of the rooms, this is perfect if you want to be close to the airport.
This hotel is more known for its robots than its rooms. The owner has a huge collection of amazing static robots. The front garden is full of them. They are made of vehicle and motor parts, they are very well made and very tall. You can see the famous Bumblebee and Optimus from the Transformers but also Alien, Spiderman, Captain America, Jack Sparrow, and more. They also sell small replicas if you are interested or if you want to start a new collection.

Even if it's not far from La Krabang busy road, outside at the pool, on the terrace of the rooftop restaurant, or inside your room, you don't notice the road traffic. I don't like noisy hotels and I didn't pay attention to any noise, I really slept well.

On the road and at a walking distance there are small restaurants, pubs, a small supermarket, and Suvarnabhumi Market and night market. If you want to eat or drink somewhere else, it's not a problem, you won't have to order a taxi.

Just behind the robot's garden and protected from a bushes fence there is a small but nice swimming pool with few loungers.

The Fitness Center is not very big, with one treadmill, a cross-trainer, 2 bicycles, a set of dumbbells, and a multi-exercise machine with a view to the pool. Like the swimming pool, there is free access for the hotel's guests.
Free towels are also available for the pool at the Fitness Center.

There are 90 rooms in this hotel and they are divided into 5 categories.

- Superior Cube:
The cheapest room but there is no window. Don't be surprised if you book it, that's why it's called a "Cube".
The room includes a satellite TV, free Wi-Fi, a safety box, a minibar, a kettle with coffee and tea facilities, a hairdryer, and a bathroom with a shower and toilet.

- Studio Room:
It includes the same facilities as the Superior Cube but there are windows. It's a little bit smaller than the Superior Cube.

- Superior Room:
It has the same facilities as the Superior Cube but there are windows and a balcony. It's the same size as the Superior Cube.

- Deluxe Room:
It has also the same facilities as the Superior Cube but there are windows, a balcony, and a DVD player. It's slightly bigger than the Superior Room.

- Suite Room:
The biggest room is made of a bedroom and a living room. It has the same facilities as the Superior Cube but there are windows, a balcony, 2 TV (one in each room), a fridge, a microwave oven, and a Jacuzzi. It's a Suite!

As you can guess, the Lobby Bistro where they serve drinks and snacks is located at the Lobby.
On the last floor, you will find the Veranda Café with its rooftop terrace. Breakfast but also snacks and drinks during the day, lunch and dinner are served at this place.

The breakfast buffet is not included in the price of the room but there is a reasonable choice of western food.

The restaurant is proposing Thai and Western food. They also have very good cocktails.

Still, on the last floor and on the roof, you will find Paradee Spa. They propose different types of massages and body scrubs.

As I wrote at the beginning, it's not the fanciest or most luxurious hotel you can find in this area, close to the airport and with a shuttle but if you have an early flight or arrive late at Suvarnabhumi airport, this hotel is perfect for one night and it's quite cheap for the quality and facilities they are proposing. Le Méridien Suvarnabhumi, Bangkok Golf Resort & Spa is a 5-star hotel located in a luxurious residential area, surrounded by an 18-hole golf course and between Suvarnabhumi International Airport (at about 20 minutes drive depending on Kingkeaw Road traffic) and Bangkok’s city centre.

The resort has a 24-hour airport shuttle service available for all guests, about every hour, and another free shuttle to Mega Bangna, a large shopping mall, and to BTS Skytrain - Udomsuk Station.

There are 223 rooms and suites in this hotel, all featuring contemporary furnishings and a large private balcony with a sun lounger for two overlooking the green golf course. They all have a 40'' LCD TV (bigger for the suites), an iron with ironing board, a safety box, a/c with an individual controller, a hairdryer, a sofa, a working desk with a chair, a minibar, and a separate bathroom with bathtub and shower. They also all offer 24-hour room service.
 Depending on the rooms, some have one King-size bed and others 2 Queen-size beds.

There are two private balconies - one with a dining table for four - with a panoramic view of the golf course.

-The Infinity Pool is a relaxing area between the Latest Recipe restaurant and the Explore SPA with a view of the golf course.
The spacious wooden deck is furnished with lounge chairs and open-air cabanas, and surrounding palm trees. The adjacent paddle pool is perfect for kids.

You can order snacks and drinks from Latest Recipe restaurant which is adjacent to the pool area. Free towels are provided to the guests.

The Explore SPA is located nearby the Infinity Pool and offers exotic sophisticated spa services and treatments all in a luxurious environment.
They propose a luxurious selection of body treatments and massages, body scrubs, refreshing therapeutic facials, and a choice of detoxifying spa packages.

All the hotel guests have free access to the Fitness Centre which is opened 24 hours a day with a few strength machines (adjustable bench, leg extension, abdominal crunch, lat pulldown, and chest press), dumbbells, gym balls, yoga mats, foam rollers, and modern cardio equipment with individual TVs (treadmills, bikes, and elliptical-trainers). There are men's and women's locker rooms, free fresh bottles of mineral water, and small clean towels available.

The breakfast is served in this restaurant and is made of several buffets with a wide choice of Asian and Western food. I recommend you to book a room including the breakfast like that you won't have to worry about which type to order, you will have access to all of them.

On Sundays, they propose a brunch with an amazing array of Western, Thai, and Asian cuisines featuring Fine de Claire Oysters, Foie Gras, Wagyu Rib Eye, Interactive BBQ live station and many more.
The Dinner Buffet has a wide variety of foods including cold and hot plates, assorted meats, fresh seafood, sushi, pasta, dim sum, premium BBQ, and mouth-watering desserts.
And finally, the à la carte menu is available all day long featuring new and old recipes of the Eastern and Western gastronomic delights.

Favola is a cosy and romantic restaurant with a rustic flavour of Tuscany. The focal point of the room is Favola’s wood-fired pizza oven, where gourmet pizzas are baked to perfection. It also features modern Italian cuisine focusing on fresh ingredients, meats, and products. The showcase is on premium rustichella pasta, best quality steaks, fresh seafood, and creative desserts.

Latitude 13°39' bar is located near the lobby and is a chic lounge with an indoor and outdoor area. It's a relaxed and cosy place where you can enjoy all day long Illy coffee, freshly baked pastries but also cocktails, wines, liquors, spirits and other beverages with sandwiches and tapas. 

The iconic 18-hole Golf Course of 160 acres is surrounding the hotel.
Manmade lakes, rolling hills, and landscaped gardens dot the par 72 courses. 
The course provides the player with a series of scenic lakes, overlapping hills, and sand bunkers strategically placed throughout the fairways. It provides a high-quality lighting installation to ensure clear visibility over the entire course for a special and magical night golf experience.

The hotel is proposing free Mountain Bikes to its guests. There isn't a lot to explore around but it's a very safe and quiet luxurious residential area, very peaceful to bike. You can go up to Kingkeaw Road where you can also find small local food shops and stalls.

What I call the "Secret Garden" of this place is the small patio in the middle of the buildings. Waterfall, plants, palm trees, and orchids make you forget that you are close to a big international airport.
You can even listen to the birds, it's a very relaxing area.

Personally, I prefer and I recommend the Grande Club rooms, also called "SPG Member" or "Starwood Preferred Guest" rooms. You can get good deals on booking websites and it includes breakfast, a higher and quieter floor, extra bathroom amenities, free Wi-Fi, free soft drinks at the bar during the day, and free-unlimited alcoholic beverages and tapas in the evening, discount to the Spa and other extra benefits.

Novotel Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport is the closest hotel to the airport you can find. Don't be worried about the traffic it's just in front of the airport, at only 5 minutes drive or walk (thought the underground tunnel).
There is a free 24-hour shuttle service which is running every 15 minutes from and to the airport. You can reach it at the airport on the second level, exit 4.

This 4-star hotel is not the cheapest place you can find in this area, but if you have an early flight, this is the place where you won't have to wake up hours before to be sure to be on time.

It's a big building with a very big lobby, 612 rooms and Suites, 7 restaurants and bars, a Spa, a swimming pool, a tropical garden, a business lounge, 2 receptions (one in the Business Center for VIP guests and Executive rooms), a tailor, an art gallery and a souvenir shop (over-priced).

Rooms are spacious and very quiet. The only problem can be the size of the building. If your room is located on the opposite side of the lifts you will have a lot of walking if you go often "up and down" to the different areas of the hotel.
Some of the rooms are surrounding the tropical garden while the others are surrounding the swimming pool.

The atmosphere inside the hotel is very quiet and a bit "cold", with lots of clean and polished marbles and orchids on every floor. This is a high-standing hotel. Like in a lot of big hotel chains, the staff is just doing their job and that's all. You won't get the warm welcome you can get in smaller hotels or resorts.

Inside the hotel you have the choice between 7 restaurants and bars:
- Sala Thai: Thai cuisine
- Golden Village: Cantonese cuisine
- Kinsen: Japanese cuisine
- Le Gourmet: French pastries
- The Square: International cuisine
- Atrium Terrace: cocktails and snacks
- Splash Pool Bar: at the pool, cocktails, and snacks

There are also a Spa, a spacious Fitness Center with a lot of equipment, a very nice outdoor swimming pool and a beautiful tropical garden which is not very easy to find, you may even not notice it.
The Spa is proposing different types of massages and treatments. In the Fitness Center, there is equipment for fitness but also for work-out. Bikes, treadmills, cross-trainers, machines to train isolated muscles, barbells, benches but also propose Thai boxing courses. They also supply towels.
In the lockers room, there are a Jacuzzi and a sauna (men are women are separated).

The swimming pool is on the same floor level as the Fitness Center and Spa. Like it's more often in the shadow than in the sun, I found the water a bit "cold". But once inside you get used to it very fast.
There are a few sunbeds, tables, and chairs all around. You get free clean towels. The Splash pool bar is proposing all kinds of drinks, as well as cocktails and small snacks.
There are lots of plants and beautiful orchids all around.

Even if it's in front of the international airport, the garden or the pool are very quiet, you don't even notice the planes which are landing or taking-off. The reason is that they are surrounded by a tall building. The downside is that the pool gets under the shadow early.
You can even see the air traffic control tower from the pool.

Inside the rooms you don't listen to any noise at all, there is excellent sound insulation. 
Rooms are very spacious and they all have a bathtub and a shower in their bathroom, individual and programmable a/c, LCD TV with international channels.
I would recommend the Executive Rooms, they are a bit more expensive but you get extra privileges like a King-size bed (or twin beds depending on your choice), an espresso machine, extra beauty products in the bathroom, the daily newspaper, complimentary fruits and chocolates (in your room only when you arrive), free daily small bottles of water (also in your room), fast check-in and out with a VIP reception (in the Business Center), complimentary coffee and tea with cakes served in the afternoon in the Business Center, complimentary drinks (alcoholic or not) with warm and cold snacks every evening which can easily replace your evening meal and all of that for free and as much as you want!

Finally the tropical garden.
It's not very easy to notice it except if your bedroom is surrounding it. It's on the opposite side of the swimming pool. From the lobby, take the stairs which are on the left side of the reception (reception facing you), and follow the small signs.
This garden is full of plants and flowers with small water ponds. It's a very good place if you want to relax, meditate or read a book. It's normally empty, at least all the time I've been there I've never seen anybody else.

Best Western Premier Amaranth Suvarnabhumi Airport is located in Lat Krabang, in the Krisana Bangna Village at about 15-20 minutes by car from Suvarnabhumi International Airport but this time may vary depending on the traffic.
Every 30 minutes and from 5 am to 2.30 am there are free shuttle transfers from and to the airport.

The hotel is just nearby the "busy" King Kaeo Road but it's quiet and you barely listen to the road noise inside the rooms. If your room is on the airport side, you will not notice the noise of the planes, like the loud trucks if you are near the road. It depends on how sensitive to the noise you are. Personally, all the time I have stayed in this hotel I didn't pay attention to anything and I really slept very well. And I'm not the type of person to sleep easily.
The surrounding has nothing special or attractive, on one side it looks like an industrial environment with a lot of old buildings, and on the other side, small rusty-roof houses and backwater.

There are 278 rooms and suites in this hotel, spread on 7 floors. All rooms have a/c, a minibar, LCD TV with international channels, a desk, a safety box, a bathroom with bathtub and shower, and a toilet in the bathroom. I have tried their Premier Rooms which are located on the 7th and last floor.
They are a bit more expensive than the Deluxe rooms, the more spacious but the balcony is smaller, just enough space to stand up, don't plan to install a chair. You get extra privileges that in my opinion are not so interesting like what are proposing other hotels:

- Welcome fruits on arrival
- Late check-out up to 4.00 pm
- Coffee, tea, and non-alcoholic drink during the day with pastry and fresh fruit ( from 7 am to 10 pm) at the Premier Lounge. (Personally, I found it very basic compared to what is proposing Novotel Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport for their Executive rooms)
- Daily free beverages in your room's minibar (water, Perrier, soda, juices, and even beer). This is interesting. In this kind of airport hotel, minibar drinks are normally over-charged and sometimes prices are multiplied by 7 or 8.
- 2 pieces per person of laundry service per day for free.
- Free Shoe Shine Service
- 10%  discount at the restaurant
- 10% discount for the Spa treatments

They have a good restaurant, Bua Chomp Restaurant which is opened 24-hour daily. They have very good Thai dishes on their menu but they also serve Western food. The breakfast is served in this restaurant and it's complete with a large choice of products, Asian and continental.

In Best Western Premier Amaranth there are a small Spa and a small Fitness Center which are accessible from the outside of the building. It's a good way to visit their small garden with lots of clean water ponds, plants, and seats to relax in the daytime if it's not too sunny otherwise you will burn, it's too hot, especially with the sun reflecting the white walls of the building. And in the evening there are too many mosquitoes in my opinion.
The Fitness Center is quite small but enough to spend calories. They supply clean towels and drinking water.
There are a couple of treadmills, cross-trainers, and bikes as well as 4 work-out machines, 2 benches, and barbells.  

The nice swimming pool is outside and on the side of the building. You walk through the small garden to reach it or take the lift with is at the end of the room's corridor. There is a sauna but I'm not sure it's operational, I've never seen it working.
The swimming pool itself is big enough with a kid's area. It's surrounded by small trees to keep small privacy from outside. There are wooden sunbeds and you get free and clean towels at the bar. Yes, there is a bar at the pool. It's closing quite early in the evening, no drinks when it starts to become dark, the bar will be closed. They serve different types of warm and cold snacks as well as any drinks and cocktails.

Because of the surrounding (backwaters) and all the ponds in the garden, there are lots of mosquitoes, especially in the evening and at night. So do not plan to spend your evening on your room's balcony, it will become uncomfortable very fast.
I've never seen mosquitoes inside the bedrooms, except if you decide to leave the balcony doors wide opened and all the lights on. Otherwise in the lobby and outside, just use a mosquito's repellent, they work very well.
This hotel is very good if you want to spend a night or two before leaving Thailand. It's easy to access, not too far from the airport, rooms, food, and services are very good and it's a bit cheaper than others which are closer to the airport.
