The Aiyapura Resort
The Aiyapura Resort is located in the north-west of Koh Chang, in the bay of Klong Son, 15 minutes from the ferry pier.
This is the quietest west part of the island. The white sandy beach is very calm and the water clear. In this area, there is a luxurious residential area, a 9-hole golf court and an authentic fisherman village.
Close to Klong Son, there is the Chinese temple, a waterfall and in my opinion the best elephant camp on the island.
The Aiyapura Resort offers a tranquil and natural environment for relaxation, and a perfect base to explore all of the activities that Koh Chang has to offer. The resort is in a beautiful and natural tropical garden with a lot of plants and flowers everywhere as well as beautiful peacocks which are free to walk everywhere.
Let’s take a look at the accommodation as “Elevation View” which are divided into 6 different categories:
The Superior and Family Superior rooms are mountain views, with air conditioning and with private parking.
The Deluxe rooms are specially designed for your comfort and overlook the sea and the exotic tropical gardens.
The Premier rooms offer an uninterrupted view of the ocean in a cosy and spacious private quarter.
The Garden Villa’s are located within the tropical gardens, and offer total privacy in tranquil surroundings.
The Pool Villa suites are located only a few steps away from the sea. The decoration is inspired by the charm and natural touch and harmony of Thai charisma.
All rooms include a private shower with hot water, a TV, and free Wi-Fi. A Mini-Mart supermarket is inside the resort.
Their restaurant is just stunning! The quality of the meals is amazing, it's the ideal Thai meal with a harmonious blend of spicy, subtle, sweet, and sour. It’s meant to be equally satisfying to the eye, nose and palate.
Experience Thai cooking at its very best at the Terrace Thai Food. They propose private courses with a talented Thai Chef.
They have a fitness centre which is equipped with state-of-the-art fitness equipment and which is designed for the maximum safety of their guests.
The resort has a leaf-shaped infinity pool which is a relaxing oasis where you can enjoy snacks and different types of beverages.
The Aiyapura Resort has its own beach which is extremely quiet. As this part of the island is less popular, there are then fewer tourists and no beach sellers who will come to bother you.
The resort is sometimes organising wedding ceremonies which are celebrated on the beach. If you are interested in getting married in Koh Chang, contact Phusitphotography who is also a wedding planner. He can arrange everything for you!
When you really want to indulge yourself, book a massage at the Bau Spa located at White Sand beach and ease away the stresses of your day with their speciality spa treatments. There are free shuttles from the resort to White Sand Beach!
And to end with this review, The Aiyapura Resort accepts your pets if you are travelling with them! They just ask you for a deposit that you will get back at your check-out in case of damages made by your lovely companion.
