The Habitat Hostel
The Habitat Hostel is a new affordable hostel on Koh Chang. It's located in Chai Chet village, right at the back of V.J. Plaza.

This location is an ideal shopping and dining area in Chai Chet where you can find in a walking distance restaurants (I recommend Abella Cuisine at 100m, on Coconut Plaza), a pizzeria, tailors, pubs, massage studios, a hairdresser, a coffee shop, drugstores, banks (ATM but also exchange offices), clothes and souvenirs shops,.... and 3 supermarkets (7-11, V-Mart and Tesco Lotus). And all of them in a perimeter of 100 meters, this is a perfect location.
Klong Prao beach, which is the longest beach on the island is just a 5 minutes walk.

The Habitat Hostel offers budget and cosy dormitory rooms, decorated with a “Tropical Jungle” theme, delivering a true sense of tropical livings while taking you to be close to nature once again.
There are 2 types of room available: 4 beds mixed dormitory room and 6 beds female dormitory room.
In each room, they are private lockers, clean beddings and towels, and individual reading lamps. The rooms have individual air conditioning.

Each room has its ensuite bathroom with a shower with hot and cold water and a toilet. The towels, soap, shampoo, and toilet paper are supplied without any extra cost.
The breakfast is included in the price of the bed.
There are a shared common space and a backyard area where you can socialise with new friends while exchanging cultures and experiences.
Inside there is a relaxing room with free books available and a TV which can be used by the guests.

The backyard can be used by the guests to take breakfast in the morning or just chill during the days or nights. The outside furniture is free to use at your convenience.

Free Wi-Fi is available to the guests in the rooms as well as in the common areas.
The reception and the common areas are opened daily from 7.00 pm to 10.00 pm.
The place is very clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. They can help you to book different trips and advise you on the available activities in Koh Chang.
