Mrs Suranart will welcome you with her smiles and will take care of your orders while her husband, Mr Kumput will realize all the cocktails you want.
Excellent bartender, Mr Kumput is also a big fan of Bob Marley and his music fits very well to the peaceful atmosphere of this place.

Koh Chang Gym is located on the north part of Klong Prao, on the main road, just on the opposite side of Klong Prao Resort, on your left side if you are coming from White Sand beach.

The gym is opened daily during the high season but also in the low season, from 9.00 am to 8.00 pm.
You can buy a membership card for a week, few weeks or few months, or you can pay your daily entry.
For the fitness addicts, there are cardio equipment, treadmills, fitness bikes and elliptical trainers on the first and second floors.
If you want to work out, there are a cable cross over machine, a leg press, a chest press, free weights, dumbbells, barbells, benches,... and so on.
You can bring your own drinks or buy them directly at the gym. They have different flavours of protein shakes as well as protein powder in cans like mass gainers and muscle enhancers but also other refreshments like water, sodas and energy drinks.
The staff is taking care of this spacious place and keeps it very clean.
There are lots of fans everywhere to cool you down. And after the training, you can enjoy your shake on their terrace.
There are only 2 rules in this gym: use a towel on the seats (you can use your own or rent one for 20 THB) and return the weights where they belong.

Located in the north part of White Sand beach, on the main road and on the hillside, just nearby Kacha Resort & Spa and on the opposite of Nim Laundry shop, Naka Tattoo Studio belongs to the tattooists I recommend.

Ms Coffee who is the owner, manager and tattooist of this studio has several years of experience in tattooing.
She has been studying art and been graduated from Mahasarakham University, in Maha Sarakham Province in the northeast region (Isan) of Thailand. She can paint, design whatever you want, from any style and of course tattoo, with machine or bamboo.
Coffee is opened every day from 1.00 pm to 11.00 pm but if she doesn't really have a fixed closing time. When she has started to tattoo, she can finish very late and it's not rare she closes her studio around 3 or 4.00 am.
If you know what kind of tattoo you want, just come to visit her, with a paper copy, a picture on your phone or just an idea in your head. She will do the rest and design what you are looking for.
Coffee is of course using sterilised needles, protective gloves and professional tattooing ink. She is very careful with hygiene.

Coffee is also an expert in tattoo covering and repainting. If you have an old tattoo you would like to cover or to give it a second life, Coffee knows what to do and how to do it with taste.

If you are tempted by getting a tattoo but scared to have it on your skin all your life, why not try a henna tattoo.
Henna is a plant which has been used since ancient time to colour hair, skin, fingernails, leather and wool. It takes between 10 to 20 minutes to apply the henna paste, depending on the design and between 10 to 15 minutes to dry.
The henna colour will fade in one to three weeks depending on your skin and how much you wash the part where henna has been applied.

Mr Boong, the owner, can organize all that you are looking for: snorkelling, fishing tour, fast boat trips to the other islands, elephant trek, jungle trek, TreeTop Adventure Park, etc… He is a nice man, he can also help to arrange a direct pick-up from your hotel or resort.
But if you want to discover Koh Chang by yourself or if you are a bicycle addict, this is the place where you can rent hybrid and mountain bicycles. I really recommend Koh Chang Holiday.
Why this place and not another one? Just because I've tried myself other bicycles and this one is, in my opinion, the best in term of quality, service and price. Mr Boong has a big passion for bicycles, he orders the parts and builds them by himself. He buys quality equipment, mounts and adjusts all parts with care.
He has a good choice of mountain and hybrid bikes up to 29'', for women and men. The price starts from 120 baht per day but if you rent it for a longer time the price is going lower. With each bike, you get front and taillights, a lock and a helmet.
Mr Boong keeps the gems inside his shop. For 250 baht per day, you can get one of his new high-end bikes, Bianchi, Trek, Specialized, Cube with hydraulic brakes, Roadshox or DT-Swiss fork, Bontrager wheels, ...

And because I recommend only what I like, I rented the 29'' Bianchi and biked from White Sand to Lonely beach. The gears, brakes, everything was well set. Passing the hills between Kai Bae and Lonely Beach wasn't the easiest part of the test but the bike was fine, gears changed easily and brakes did their job.

All the time a bicycle comes back to his shop, Mr Boong cleans it completely, checks it, tries it and if needed readjusts it. He really loves his bicycles.
